Found this place by accident while in WNY for lacrosse. Who can resist trying a coal fire kitchen. My wife and I ordered the meat lovers pizza. Watched the 'pizza guy' make the crust while I enjoyed a craft beer. The pizza oven was stacked with coal and it was cool to see the guy to Stoke it. The pizza was wonderful and we enjoyed it. The waitress was a true pro. Knew when to check-in, was friendly (also a cutie too) and was great at her job. Will be back.

Scratch made, in house recipes, creative decor. Clean restaurant with simple yet well implemented recipes for their food. I tried simply because they have a different method of cooking what with the coal fired oven, but it makes a difference. Steak is well prepared (filet), roasted pepper dip was very flavorful with the pizza bread strips. And the custom spicy BBQ chicken pizza was delicious. Not a strong BBQ flavor visually but definitely tasteful without being slathered on.

We've come across Gallo while driving through the area, we've since visited the place several times through summer while visiting the Falls. Being from Toronto we make it a point to cross the border and eat here instead of the dreadful assortment of food at the Canada side falls area. Not once have we had a mediocre meal, every time the food was fresh and delicious. The fresh burrata is amazing every time, the pizza is flavorful and dough delicious ... Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. What a gem of a place located in a nice quiet area, always has a place to sit, be it outside or inside, and no overwhelming touristy lines. Well worth the drive, will definitely be back again.
